This wine is obtained by smoothly pressing the Cortese grapes grown in the villages of Gavi and Novi Ligure. Gavi is bottled in the spring immediately following the grape harvest season.
Before being offered for sale this wine is allowed to rest for at least 1 month.
According to its organoleptic examination its colour proves peing pale straw-yellow with green reflexes. It smells soft and fruity. It tastes dry, pleasant, and well-balanced. Gavi goes well with any dish but it is particularly suitable for hors d’oeuvre and fish disches.
Serve it at a temperature of 5-6°C.
